Persisting Meta-Data

Persist configuration data for each de-duplication report
Whenever a new report is generated the information such as the user that ran the report, a timestamp for the     report, elapsed time for each sub-step of the analysis, and which strategies were used are being persisted in the database.
Along with the View Report link there is a link to see the Statistics of each report that is generated  through a link called "View statistics".

User Interface Innovations

Last week was a bit hectic...but i should say it was quite fruitful.. :)
I changed the Create new strategies page by highlighting the fields for matching so that they are readily recognized. The "should match" fields turn green when clicked and the "must match" ones turn red.I  have Changed the list of available fields from three to two columns to avoid horizontal scrolling...
I have found out an approach to deal with persisting metadata of the report.
More about it in my next post

About OpenMRS
openmrs_2008_logo_web2
OpenMRS is an application which enables design of a customized medical records system with no programming knowledge (although medical and systems analysis knowledge is required). It is a common framework upon which medical informatics efforts in developing countries can be built. The system is based on a conceptual table structure which is not dependent on the actual types of medical information required to be collected or on particular data collection forms and so can be customized for different uses.
Loads of work left so taking leave for now ;)
